Bussière Poitevine is a charming small town that lies along the side of the River Gartempe in the lush countryside of the Limousin. Bussière Poitevine is just a small town, with under a thousand permanent residents, but it has a good collection of local shops which include that most French of delights, a first class boulangerie where you can treat yourself to freshly baked baguettes, croissants and delicious pastries and cakes.
