Bourg Saint Maurice is a lovely and traditional style town in the Savoie Department of the French Alps. The town is frequently seen as no more than a stopping point en route to the Alpine ski resort of Les Arcs, as it is here that the trains reach the end of their journeys to the Alps, offloading their passengers who are keen to make the transfer upwards to the resorts above the town. Bourg Saint Maurice, however, is more than just a railway station, useful though this may be!
