Hénon - one of the seven communes of Pays de Moncontour
The small town of Hénon, which is found in the north-west of France in the Côtes d'Armor department of Brittany, is not just a town on its own but one which has become part of the seven communes of the Pays de Moncontour. This extended community was set up in 1993 in order to maximise the economic potential, to preserve the individual heritages of each village and to improve the quality of life for both inhabitants and visitors.

For farmers and fishermen
The countryside of the surrounding area is lush and green, with woods and meadows punctuated by lakes and rivers. It is a perfect agricultural region, ideal for raising animals and growing crops, with its gentle climate and clean air. Fishermen are in heaven here, as the rivers are bursting with fish. Those whose love of fish tends more towards eating them than trying to catch them will be happy here too, as unsurprisingly both sea and freshwater fish are something of a speciality in the Côtes d'Armor.

Access to amenities
Hénon and the other towns that form the communes of Moncontour offer between them, access to all the shops, restaurants, amenities and service industries that you will need, as well as being situated close enough to the fabulous Breton coast and the main town of St Brieuc. The seven communes were formed to maximise the economic potential of the towns and villages that form it, and Hénon, as a result, is developing into a thriving community, ideal for property seekers who are seeking to establish a business in Brittany.
