The lovely climate enjoyed here lends itself to many outdoors activities. You can try your hand at all manner of sports such as pony trekking, golf and mountain biking. Or you can hire a motorcycle, have a go at scuba diving in the nearby Med, or ski in the Pyrénées in winter.

How to get there
Perpignan is the nearest airport, and has flights from the UK with Ryanair, bmibaby and flybe. Girona and Carcassonne are also nearby, both being served by Ryanair. The TGV runs to Perpignan from Paris (where you can change from Eurostar), so this is another easy and fast option available to you, as Perpignan is not far from Le Boulou.

Although Le Boulou is close to the Med and situated in a very naturally privileged part of the beautiful south of France, prices of property here are less than you might imagine. Being a short way inland, Le Boulou avoids the high prices seen in the coastal resorts, and represents a good investment opportunity.
