The nearest airports are found at Poitiers and Limoges. Poitiers is served by Ryanair and Limoges by Ryanair and Flybe. Angouleme Airport is closer but this does not currently offer direct services to/from the UK. The town does have a railway station from which you can obtain small, local services to link to major train lines in Poitiers. The Route Nationale, the N141, runs close to Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure.
The Charente is still quite reasonably priced for property, in spite of its recent rise in popularity with foreign buyers.
