Property prices and availability in and around Châteauneuf sur Charente
Property for sale in or near Châteauneuf sur Charente is usually good value, especially when compared to the nearby Dordogne, where prices have risen dramatically due to massive interest from the foreign (and especially British) property market. Look for typically Charantaise styled properties which will hold their value well. Having said that, don't delay your search too long, as prices in the department are being pushed up by interest not just from the British and other foreign buyers, but also as a result of wealthy Parisians looking for a bolt hole in the country.
