Here, the produce from nearby farms is on display, the townspeople turning out in force to buy the very best from the stallholders. It is possible to fly to nearby airports Poitiers or Limoges from the UK with budget airline Ryanair. Rail travel is another practical option as there is a TGV line into the town of Angoulême, close to La Rochefoucauld.
