With good amenities and a location just an hour and a half from the ferry ports and airports, it's also perfect for those getaway weekends. Saint Denis is a good sized village, and as such offers handy local shops and services. Within the village boundaries you'll find a small supermarket, a pharmacy, a couple of boulangeries and a bank. There's also a friendly little bar/restaurant where you can enjoy the local cuisine and chat to the villagers. If you enjoy discovering the patrimony of French villages, Saint Denis points you to its Romanesque church which has many interesting features. St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen and Le Havre ferry ports are all within very reasonable driving distances, while the N12 motorway runs close to Saint Denis.
