Travelling by rail you can take a TGV to Bourg St Maurice, or to Lyon.

Access: By air: Fly to Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble or Chambery. By rail: There is a rail station at Annecy, and also a TGV stop at Bourg St Maurice.
Economy: The economy is developing rapidly, with many new industries based here. Mountain tourism, in both summer and winter, is also significant.
Interesting fact: A school in Bonneville recently teamed up with an inner city school from England to produce a bilingual performance of Romeo and Juliet, to wide acclaim.
