Corseul - a Gallo Roman town

The little Gallo Roman town of Corseul in north-west France may seem unassuming today, but it was once an important Roman settlement. Set in the ever popular Côtes-d'Armor department, Corseul is an ideal base from which to enjoy the many splendours of this beautiful part of France. Corseul possesses some fame thanks to its Gallo Roman heritage, and the excavations and remains are still visible today. The town also has a good little archaeological museum, providing a fascinating opportunity to trace the distant history of the town and the surrounding area where many important finds have been made.
