Set almost on the edge of the lovely Loudeac Forest, and near the waters of the River Lie, the town makes a perfect location for getting out and about in the beautiful countryside and for trying your hand at a great selection of outdoor pursuits. The beautiful Breton coast is within a forty-five minute drive, while heritage towns such as mediaeval Dinan are also within easy reach.
While many French rural villages offer very little in the way of amenities, Plémet is extremely well appointed, with shops, a supermarket, a restaurant and a weekly market (Tuesdays) where you can get fresh produce straight from the producers in the traditional way. The lively village centre lacks for nothing, so you don't have to make an arduous car journey to bring home the bread, the galettes or any of the other little necessities of life.
Plémet also offers banks, medical services, local services and more. The bar and restaurant allow for a very pleasant opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of other villagers, improve your French and enjoy the local cuisine too.
