For buying and selling property in Pordic

Pordic - a pretty little seaside resort

Pordic, a Breton seaside village that is located in the northern department of Côte-d'Armor, is every bit as cute as its name, with beautiful sandy beaches, wild headlands and attractive typically Breton houses of stone, slate and granite. The pretty village centre offers most amenities, with shops, an historic church and a sprinkling of pleasant cafés, bars and restaurants.

Peace and fresh air

The village of Pordic offers a real chance to get away from it all, yet still to be close to all amenities and places of interest. The village is unspoiled and pretty and the beaches safe and clean. And the cliff paths provide some of the best walking and most dramatic views around.

St-Brieuc is Pordic's next door neighbour

The large and bustling town of St-Brieuc is located almost next door, so the village is in a superb location for anyone wanting to see more of what the fascinating and beautiful department has to offer. St-Brieuc is extremely well equipped, so there is no need to feel isolated from the convenience offered by proximity to a large town.

Getting sporty...

If sports are important to you, you won't be disappointed by the selection of activities on offer in or close to Pordic. Within easy reach of the town there is bowling, swimming, sailing, walking, horse-riding, cycling, fishing, scuba diving… and, of course, the quintessentially French game of petanque!

How to get there

You can fly into Dinard's airport with Ryanair or Air Aurigny, or you may prefer to fly to Brest with flybe or Ryanair. Of course, you could choose to take the ferry to St Malo, which is near enough to the town to make travelling easy. Train travel is a little more complicated as you have to make a few changes along the way, but the station at nearby St-Brieuc makes it possible to travel by rail should you so wish.

Property prices and availability in and around Pordic

As with anywhere in Brittany that is on the coast, property in Pordic carries a high-ish price tag. This does have an upside, though, as it also virtually guarantees that property will hold its price and probably even increase in value, and also that there is a good chance of excellent rental incomes should you decide to rent the property out when you are not in residence.
