Cléden Poher, despite its fairly diminutive size, has two schools, one public and one private, a post office, a doctor, a small supermarket, a bakery, a bar and a restaurant, as well as a hairdresser's, giving you most of life's little essentials on the doorstep. There is also a velodrome, for those wishing to pursue this sport. Meanwhile further facilities can be easily accessed at the nearby larger town of Carhaix Plouguer.
