Alpine Estate Agent "Wendy's Houses" Joins French Property Links

How this top Haute-Savoie agent can help find your perfect alpine property

Wendy's Houses - a business with a difference

Wendy Bull has been running her business in the Haute-Savoie department of France for some eight years now. However, her association with the area goes back some eighteen years, and with her family all living within a close area, Wendy's knowledge of this location is unparalleled. This depth of knowledge enables her to offer a really specialised service to her clients, who come, as she says, from all walks of life and many different countries. What's more, Wendy and her team (which includes her daughter, who is married to a Frenchman and who is a translator), have not just a deep seated knowledge of this part of the Alps but also an understanding of the way the French here think and work.

From Lake Geneva to the mountains

Covering a relatively small geographical area (around Lake Geneva and up into the mountains where resorts like Morzine are found), allows Wendy's Houses to offer a specialised service. Wendy works only within an area that she can personally oversee, physically rather than virtually. This unique approach means that she can work on a one to one basis with her clients. So she gets to know them well, with most ending up as personal friends long after the buying and settling in days are done! The area is popular with second home buyers as well as an ever increasing number of clients who seek to settle permanently in the glorious surroundings of the lakes and mountains. It attracts skiers, walkers, climbers and those who love the scenery and the lifestyle that is unique to this part of France.

A complete range of properties

Wendy's Houses deals with all types of properties in all price brackets. So, whether you are looking for a little studio bolthole for skiing holidays or a luxury lakeside abode, Wendy will be pleased to help. Ski properties in Morzine, a ski and summer sports resort developed from a traditional Alpine village, are the most sought after. Properties in the towns around the shores of Lake Geneva, where a different, more relaxed ambience prevails, are also in demand. Wendy has a good selection of new build properties and older properties for renovation, and, as Wendy points out, there is an ideal property for everyone. It is still possible to find a renovation opportunity if this is what you hope to do.

Personal Service

What really marks Wendy's service out as different from the rest is the one to one attention she offers to her clients. Wendy works personally with all clients, and takes them step by step through the sometimes complicated business of finding and buying a property in France. All the help you could need is provided, from translation services to accompanied viewings, site or legal meetings and signings. If there are times when something needs to be done and you are unable to be in France to oversee it, Wendy is happy to take over the reins at any time. Her long experience and family connections in the area mean that Wendy is also fully aware of the way that things are done in France, which can be a little different from the way that British buyers know! In fact, Wendy promises that there is nothing that her clients will need throughout the entire process, that she doesn't provide as part of her service. Both French and English are spoken.

Wendy's Houses advertise with French Property Links

Wendy started advertising with French Property Links (FPL) because initially, she liked the sharp, clear layout of the site and the user friendly design. She doesn't advertise heavily, preferring to keep her service small and friendly, but has had an excellent response since being on the site. She also found that the helpful attitude of FPL's staff was in tune with her own ethos. As she says, FPL were prepared to "go the extra mile" to offer a complete and personal service. So, from her initial idea of giving it a trial, she has decided to advertise regularly on the site.
