The snow-capped Pyrénées Mountains make a dramatic and beautiful backdrop to the little village of Belvèze du Razes. Also surrounded by the vineyards so characteristic of the region, the village is close to the stunning mediaeval city of Carcassonne and many other major attractions. Carcassonne's airport, served by Ryanair, makes it really easy to reach from the UK too.

Life in the village

Belvèze du Razes offers a good selection of local shops and services. In the village there's a boulangerie (so you can get those delicious baguettes and pastries freshly baked every day) and other small shops, a bank, pharmacy, a bar and a restaurant. More choice of shops and events can be found close by

Meanwhile, a huge range of shops and supermarkets can be found half an hour away in Carcassonne, while Limoux, Mirepoix and Castelnaudary are also close by offering a great choice of shops, restaurants and sights. Heritage to explore
